Memories from Robertsbridge
6 August 2025
This collection explores the emotional weight of departure as seen through the rural flora of my home village.
Using motion and light, the series captures common wild plants—Daucus carota (wild carrot), Eupatorium cannabinum (hemp agrimony), Thymus, buddleia, ragwort, and grasses.
These species often thrive in transitional spaces—old tracks, untended edges— becoming metaphors for memory, movement, and change.
Created using ambient light, handheld flash, and ND filters. Colour graded in Lightroom. FujiX100V.
