Collections
These collections celebrate overlooked beauty and fragile microcosms of nature. Flowers and landscapes become symbols of femininity, resilience, and the planet’s vitality. Using flash, ambient light, and motion, the work embraces imperfections to uncover deeper stories — sometimes intertwined with human narratives — inviting reflection, ecological storytelling, and renewed connection.

An intimate look at the beauty of Slovenian meadows — alive with butterflies, wildflowers, and quiet life. With butterfly populations declining across Europe, these fragile encounters feel ordinary and precious, reminders of what still survives when land is left to breathe. Shaped by farming and changing climates, these delicate habitats continue to fade away. This series explores the meadow around the house as a space of connection and transformation. Created using ambient light, handheld flash, and ND filters. Colour graded in Lightroom. FujiX100V.

In this series, photographed at Great Dixter House & Gardens, flowers take centre stage. Inspired by the garden’s layered planting and wild energy, I view each bloom not as decoration but as a presence full of emotion, tension, and grace. Through close focus, unusual angles, and natural effects, I aim to capture moments when the characters come alive. This page includes a field recording blending bird song and garden sounds to capture the place's spirit. Created using ambient light, handheld flash, and ND filters. Colour graded in Lightroom. FujiX100V.

This series tells the story of the rare limestone pavements of Cumbria and Lancashire — ancient rock formations carved by glacial waters that host unique plants and microhabitats found nowhere else. Created in collaboration with Professor Carly Stevens and supported by the British Ecological Society and Lancaster University , this work documents a habitat on the brink. Overgrazing, invasive species, ash dieback, and quarrying threaten the ecosystem’s survival. With too much pressure or too little disturbance, biodiversity fades. It’s the delicate combination of species, structure, and balance that makes these pavements so precious, with scientists still unravelling their complexity before it’s lost. * Learn more about the ecological value of limestone pavements in this BBC article featuring Carly Stevens.

An evolving study of local nature, shaped by rare blue skies and unexpected floral combinations. Rooted in local walks and quiet mornings in my garden, Out Of The Blue celebrates instinct and play in the natural world. With this collection, I take a step forward in portraying rare flowers and plants in their natural environment. I use camera movement as a reaction to their movement. Absorbing the moment, colour, and form to inspire our reconnection with nature. Created using ambient light, handheld flash, and ND filters. Colour graded in Lightroom. FujiX100V.

Magic happens when we go over our limits, let go of our fears and dance like no one is watching. This group of powerful women are reclaiming their space through dance and music @Groove Bexhill UK. My 2023 collection delves deeper into my artistic documentation of the natural world. I take a closer look at the wild and rare flora segments that paint the gardens and meadows in poignant tones. Climate change continues to disrupt. Flowering starts earlier than ever before, and the once-well-balanced pollination system is now in chaos. The enchanting colours, exquisite shapes, and textures are a swan's song of this collapsing world. Created using ambient light, flash, and occasionally ND filters. Colour graded in Lightroom. FujiX100V.

One Ocean, fine art photography by Oana Baković. This limited and intimate collection evokes beautiful days spent swimming and playing in the ocean. The intricacy of emotions, the sense of total loss of time, the vestigial childhood joys and the sheer panic when thinking of the future are the emerging emotions of this series.

Rural, fine art photography by Oana Baković. Driving through the English countryside, with foals in fields and Foals in the ear. A fantasy trip that gets you high with life. Cottages, windmills, yellow fields, green trees, cyclists, everything blends together in this non-ballistic drive-by collection.
