Theatre Of Flowers

23 June 2025

In this series, photographed at Great Dixter, flowers take centre stage.

Inspired by the garden’s layered planting and wild energy, I view each bloom not as decoration but as a presence full of emotion, tension, and grace.

Through close focus, unusual angles, and natural effects, I aim to capture moments when the characters come alive. This theatre without scripts is a fleeting performance where light, motion and chance create the moment.

This page includes a field recording made at Great Dixter, which blends bird song and garden sounds to capture the place's spirit.
